(Introduction)
I suppose you have a few questions, so I’ll start off with a few things I’d like you to bear in mind.
- The information I’m about to set out cannot be trusted fully. Using their power Ever-Lucid, the company which first developed this developmental technology, wiped entire towns in the aftermath of this experiment, so the information we have is limited and untrustworthy, showing only snippets of life at the time, only a few pieces of a puzzle which is, in reality, unimaginably big.
- This information is to be used for research purposes only, because knowledge of this time could be seen as dangerous. There’s something said about the importance of knowing the past so the same thing doesn’t happen again but knowledge of how this society worked, and its technology in particular, could be fatal if read by the wrong people. We aim for a world where dreams aren’t merely a path into our subconscious mind but also actions we wish to carry out, goals that can indeed become real if we put our minds to achieving them. In a world where we can dream we are free, and our government, and every government everywhere, should believe that freedom of the people is the most important human right, and should be uplifted and protected.
We hope that the documents you read, starting on the next page, will teach you about the dangers of AI, and the effect the manipulation of science and the effectiveness of technology has on citizens in everyday society. It’ll mention ideas such as M.C.E.T. (the measure of human sleep patterns) and the way this technology developed.
We ultimately hope you find this useful for research and personal growth, because as historians and scientists of the future the past has never been more important. We hope that this reading is intellectually stimulating and that your sympathies will be better for it -
This is freedom. Freedom is safe. Freedom is now.
